I won Inheritance, the first book in Nora Roberts' new series The Lost Bride Trilogy, as an ARC through Goodreads Giveaways, WAHOO! I was surprised it was a ghost story; a juicy gothic love story. I don't come across ghost stories often but Roberts 100% nailed her goal she laid out in the novel's book blurb and author note of honoring her love and ghostly adventures from her youth.
is back to gifting us with. We are taken on a ride of friendship, fun dogs, sweet and scary ghost hauntings, curses and romance all in a haunted mansion, on the cliffs, overlooking a cute coastal town. Can it get any better than those elements combined?! Sonya, Cleo, Trey and Owen will never be the same again as the ghostly inhabitants weave tighter into Sonya's life and their relationships evolve, also weaving tighter together. The Lost Bride's want their wedding rings found and the witch who cursed them, through the generations of Poole history, banished. 
I have read most all of Nora Roberts' books and this one... she has given us the drama, romance, and magic to keep your heart pounding and making going to sleep at night a little harder with Inheritance. Publication shows November 2023, but October, the spooky month, would have been so much more appropriate. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did when it comes out to read!
